no cheese was in burger

Ok, There was problems with 3 purchases over the past 2 weeks, but the first and most noticeable: Their website has several typo's.

Our 1st problem was when my fiance ordered whoppers WITH CHEESE, and she enhanced the "WITH CHEESE" 3 times during the placing of her order as the attendant seemed to have difficultys understanding her order.
When she got home we were surprised to find that there was NO CHEESE on any of the 5 burgers.

Our 2nd problem was earlier this week when I went through drive through and was served by the main manager.
I ordered 5 stunner meals and asked for the FLAKE storms for all meals,
TWICE he asked if they were cookies and cream, to which I replied NO, THEY ARE FLAKES PLEASE, the when I got home I discovered that I had received only one FLAKE and the rest were cookies and cream.

Our 3rd problem occurred tonight (15/2/08), when we ordered 4 stunner meals and saw a display showing the new tropical storm.
We all decided that we would like to try them..... but were told by the service guy that we couldnt get that one with our stunner meal as it was a different promotion and that the computerised till wouldnt allow it.

We then asked to speak to a manager.

A female manageress appeared and told us that it wasnt possible because it was a different promotion and that the computer program wouldnt allow it, So we asked why you cant just do it and she said that it was because it would effect our stock tallys at the end of the shift.
We also asked for 3 flake storms and one cookies and cream, but were served 4 flake's, and had to go back to ask for a cookies and cream.....

The problems are that we regularly dine in and takeaway from this store, and are noticing that the service is far from up to normal standards.

It is extremely difficult to understand the statement about tallying up stock as it must also be effected when things happen as in the 1st and 2nd description, but they are not allowed to happen voluntarily as in the 3rd when it is actually asked for.....

Even more difficult to understand is that the tropical storm was offered at the price of $2.50 yet the normal (cookies and cream, flake and rainbow storm's) were shown on the price list at the higher price ($2.95).

This service, and situation is pathetic because they are effectively saying that they cant give you the wrong item on purpose but they can give it to you when they stuff up and its ok then.

They really need to get it together!

Problem is that there is only one store in our town, actually there is 2 but the other is owned by the same people and it is in a shopping centre so no drivethrough as well as different opening hours.

they are all as slack as each other, last hungry jacks meal l ordered ask for the vege supreme with cheese ( mind you it comes with cheese) and a stunner deal with flake storm, the young girl then charged us for every thing seperately instead of meal deal, got vege burger with no cheese.. and storm icecream had a blob in the bottom, around a tablespoon of icecream, so took the lot back, complained and the guy who did the icecream laughed at it!! though dont know how many times been to maccas and had no meat on the burgers?? or at least one burger missing.

just thought of a great one regarding maccas, sister in law and l had a early meeting so decided to get maccas for breakfast (around 8.30am) we ordered 2 orange juices, 2 lattes, toasted cheese / tomato sandwich and a bacon egg muffin, they told us they had no orange juice, run out of milk and also run out of bread!!!!

I would suggest if you can't go elsewhere, then start to complain in writing to the franchisee and also send a copy to your states head office. I also had several problems with a franchised store but fortunately I was able to go to a company owned store where I have never had a problem. I was also a restaurant manager with HJ's some years back and any complaints that were reported to the state office were addressed with store staff and taken seriously. Maybe this has changed but it is worth the effort. At the very least, I would be asking for a refund every time the order was wrong.

A couple of the Melbourne CBD stores aren't exactly clean but offer very different service from each other.

Hungry Jacks - Corner of Swanston and LaTrobe: No matter what time of the day or how busy it is, they tend to be very fast and have many registers open during lunch hour. I've always found I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to be served. icon_biggrin.gif

Hungry Jacks - Southern Cross Station: Nightmare! During Lunch Hour it's not uncommon for the queues to be leading right out the door! lol. What's worse is they have 2-3 registers open and that's it. icon_sad.gif

I guess at the end of the day we are talking Fast Food joints here. eusa_silenced.gif

Whopper is advertised on outdoor banners and menu for $2.99 (breakfast). After purchasing item, noticed I was charged $3.20. The manager, Tomasa, explained in broken English that it was an old sign and basically to go away. She refused to even go outside and LOOK at the sign.

I noticed that Burger King has no way to file email complaints and I waited over 1/2 hour on a long distance call before leaving a verbal message.

This is not the first experience I've had being treated rudely by a "Manager" at Burger King. I'm done and will be blogging about my experience as well.

On the 9th January I went into the Burger King on Queen St in Cardiff, I queued up and ordered a vegetarian burger and handed the cashier the money. He said it would be a few minutes so I went and waited at the side, twenty minutes later my burger still hadn't been given to me so I went up and asked where it was. Their response was to deny that I had ever ordered a vegetarian burger, the manager came over and backed up his staff who were lying and said that I wouldn't be getting one! I consequently took down the guys names, krashina and dino and left, I will never be going back!

When Hungry Jack's is good, it's delicious; but when it is bad, it's enough to turn your bowels to water. Recently, I have had poor quality meals delived to me on two occasions:

The first time was in november-december 2008, I went to Hungry Jack's Loganholme, and it was close to closing time. I asked the staff if they were still serving, they said 'yes', and proceeded to take my order - a whopper value meal. When I got home I opened the burger to check - as I always do - if it was edible, and as I ordered: it was not edible; the patty was cold, undercooked, and looked as if it had been taken off the floor. In addition to this, there was hardly any lettuce, and what lettuce there was looked like something that belonged in the trash: brown and disgusting; the 2 pieces of tomato were soggy, sad looking things, which again, looked like they belonged in the trash. On top of all this the burger smelled BAD. If I had eaten this thing, i would have been ill for sure. If the staff didn't want to make me a burger worth eating, they shouldn't have bothered!
The second time I received a substandard meal was on Tuesday the 17th of February, at 9am. I was at Tugun, and spied a Hungry Jack's store and decided they 'deserved another try', so i entered and proceeded to place my order - a whopper value meal. i received my meal in a timely fashion, but again, the burger was crap. This time the salad on the burger seemed to be edible, but the patty was a foul, diseased, undercooked, and smelly thing - it had these discoloured pustules on it, which, of course, turned my stomach: i promptly launched that burger out of my car window. Honestly, that patty looked as if had been festering in a corner somewhere for X days. I don't know why this happens to me; i am always courteous to the staff, as i know what it's like to work in customer service. i'm not complaining in order to get a 'free' meal or anything. Truth be told, i won't be eating there - or anywhere else - again. Hungry Jack's has put me off fast food, probably indefinetly.
